1.2 million Americans without income

Watching the news today, I realized that there is not much to be excited about. Besides Canada Day being tomorrow and the 4th of July coming up there was not much good news. I read on CNN.com that unemployment runs out today for 1.2 million people. This made me really upset because although some people take advantage of unemployment but a lot do not. A lot of people have bills to pay and mouths to feed. I feel bad for the millions of people who had lost their jobs during the recent recession. Although things are getting better it is still not completely back to normal. With unemployment running out it is going to be even more difficult for families to make ends meat.

Eclipse

Eclipse comes out tonight! I know I am not helping my sexuality case right now but I don't even care because I am so excited. Eclipse was my favorite book. It had the most action out of all of the books and the movie looks sick. My favorite scene in the whole book is the tent scene. I can't wait to see it on film. The scene is where Jacob, Bella and Edward all have to sleep in a tent together. Since Edward is cold and Jake is warm Bella has to sleep next to Jake. Well vampires can read people's minds so while Jake is sleeping next to his girlfriend Edward can hear what is going on in his head. The whole book was good. It is by far the most masculine book in the whole series it is not as much lovey dovey junk as it is action. I am not going to the midnight showing because I could not get my friends to go but I don't even care. This cute girl at worked said she wanted to go but had no one to go with and I offered to take her. I tried to hide my obsession but it came out and she was excited I loved it so much. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Sexuality

Throughout my life I never understood everyone's obsession with sexuality. Since I was about 12 years everyone has always been wondering if I had a girlfriend. I used to think that everyone really just cared about my personal life but then I realized that it is because they think I am gay. No I have never had a girlfriend and I get along well with girls but I am not gay. I like to look good and know a lot about fashion but I also know a lot about sports and art. I have never had a girlfriend because my focus has always been to get good grades and be successful in whatever I am doing. I have not met a girl that made giving up my job worth it. I know she is out there but I have not met her yet. I get along with girls because I listen to them and can handle all of their cattiness. It is also a good way to meet potential girlfriends. I am not homophobic or anything I just never understood why people always just assume that you are gay.

Oil Spill

The recent oil spill is has everyone outraged. Everyone is mad at Obama saying that BP needs to pay now and how its going to change the prices of oil etc. But what I don't get is why people are worried about that stuff. We need to take our attention away from the money and who is at fault and focus on fixing the situation. Yes money is important but the focus should on fixing the problem, helping the animals and families effected and preventing this from happening in the future. Who is at fault and fines should be dealt with at a later time.
